Ivan has an MBA degree with a graduate diploma in business from Waikato Institute of Technology, with extensive construction experience gained through his work for a large Canterbury-based construction company.

Ivan is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 10 years’ experience in the fields of finance, accounting, information technology, business analysis and process design and implementation.

He has worked in both the Philippines and in the US for a number of Fortune 500 companies including Xerox, Shell Oil, Colgate, Palmolive and Mitsubishi Motors until he and his family fell in love with New Zealand and moved here in 2011.

He joined a small construction company in Christchurch in 2012 when it had only 15 people and a small net worth. Initially employed as the Finance Manager, Ivan applied his international skills and experience across the company. He set up systems and processes, reporting tools, overhauled the financials, and conducted a profitability analysis to determine what construction projects would generate the best revenue and the required scale to deliver in highest quality.
